Abstract

PPI prescribing continues to increase for dyspepsia man agement in the UK and the rising cost suggests that alternative options need to be considered. This article looks at the savings achieved with a policy of stepping down or off PPI therapy, with an alginate for acid rebound or break through symptoms. Copyright © 2007 Wiley Interface Ltd
