Malaria: clinical features and recommended management

Malaria is a life‐threatening disease and its syndromes vary depending on the infecting species and previous exposure. Here, the authors look at the importance of prompt diagnosis and administration of appropriate treatment and discuss the role of the GP in managing this potentially fatal disease.
