What does being a designated medical practitioner involve?
Authors
Abstract
Nonmedical prescribers must complete an accredited programme of study, including practice‐based learning, under the supervision of a qualified doctor known as a designated medical practitioner (DMP). Here, the author describes the role of the DMP and three case studies illustrate the experiences of some of those involved. Copyright © 2006 Wiley Interface Ltd
