Excessive spending on self‐monitoring blood glucose in T2D

Abstract
NICE and UK consensus guidelines do not recommend routine selfmonitoring of blood glucose in type 2 diabetes. This article appraises an economic analysis of the potential savings that could be made if the published guidance was followed more closely. Copyright © 2009 Wiley Interface Ltd
