Recommended drug treatment of osteoarthritis in primary care

Nonpharmacological interventions are central to the long‐term management of OA, but control of symptoms will require analgesic therapy. Here, the authors discuss the properties, efficacy and side‐effects of the available drug treatments, followed by an analysis of prescription data and sources of further information.
