Cost‐effectiveness modelling in osteoporosis: alternatives to NICE

Authors

Pam Brown

Abstract

The cost‐effectiveness modelling used by NICE in its 2008 guidance on the prevention of osteoporotic fracture in postmenopausal women has recently been challenged. Here, the author presents alternative cost‐effectiveness analyses and discusses the disparities with that published by NICE. Copyright © 2009 Wiley Interface Ltd
