New diabetes guides

NHS Diabetes (www.diabetes. nhs.uk) has published six new guides to support clinicians and patients with diabetes.

    The topics, which can be downloaded from the website, are: hospital management of hypoglycaemia, management of diabetic keto­acidosis, using insulin in hospital, emotional and psychological support in diabetes, self-monitoring blood glucose in type 2 diabetes and tips for foot care.
